   I kind of see myself in the story that you have written, but tbh, I'm just waiting for the right person.

   If your way of communication is to “be available” and do everything in your power to “be available” then that's just who you are.

   I personally think it's beautiful, but in the age and world, yes, you will most likely be taken advantage of.

   Nonetheless, this is who you are, I wouldn't change myself so that I can feel more comfortable or acceptable to others.

   I've also struggled a lot with relationships, friends, people in general, but I don't lose hope and I believe that someday I will meet a person who won't use me or take advantage, but will actually appreciate these qualities, until that, I'm more than happy being alone, I don't need fake friends, relationships or abuse in my life of any kind.

2. Stop perpetuating this. A lot of people find Valentine’s Day to be a dumb holiday. If you expect something for Valentine’s Day that needs to be communicated before the holiday.
