It's not the baby, it's your husband being entirely unreasonable. That's what's driving you apart. Did he know your brother's condition the whole time and decide that now you are pregnant, suddenly he can spring demands on you that have never been mentioned before? If so, I find that highly suspicious.

I am very close friends with OP, and was once best friends with the M23 mentioned.
They did some awful things, and lied constantly to me, my partner and OP. I’m disappointed they both did this, but it’s led to me and OP to be happier in our friendships knowing I’m not being bogged down by M23 anymore and having to always hang out on his terms.
Ironically they complained about OP “stalking” them, funnily enough found her posts despite not actively using Reddit. Figures.
I’m glad OP has made these posts, and I want to thank everybody for their words of kindness. Even strangers on the internet being able to connect over trauma is very helpful to one’s healing.

You may not be ready to a make shift family, she doesn't want her daughter seeing you in your boxers….it'll be different if you was the kids dad, but your not so if you want them to remain living with you then put on some regular basketball type shorts. Now if she is telling you to wear pants and not even shorts that goes to your knees will do then she is being unreasonable and you may have ruined the peace you had your house by having them move in….there were obviously a few questions that wasn't asked prior to this move and you shouldn't move anybody into your place simply because you have the room for them to move in or because you feel lonely your house or even out of pity…you should be more cautious when wanting to move a gf in especially if they have a child because things WILL always change.
If you can afford it then a therapist would be very helpful to work through this with, so you can divorce her.

If you keep messaging her you will come off as desperate. You can't determine if she needs space? Even I can determine it for your post. You need to give her space and move on. If you chase a butterfly it'll never come to you but if you sit down and ignore it, it will.
