Any child that is indoctrinated into a specific religion from birth has been groomed for it.
You need to sit down & ask her what made her say the things she said because it hurt you very much.Sounds as if she wants to have her own way & wants to do things when she wants & with or without your permission.If you have been together a while a relationship works both ways & should be talked about.This guy if you didn't know him has bulldozed his way into your space & you on the other hand might be feeling protective about your daughter & could have some insecurity because you don't know him or his family.Check him & your partner out that they don't know each other previously too.Hope you get sorted.
You simply have to directly tell him what you want or need. That’s literally the only solution. He’s not a mind reader and I’m sure if he’s a decent guy he wants to please you as much as you want to please him. Just tell him what you want.
