You mentioned that you don’t treat the children differently-but you kind of are; you’re essentially banning the child from coming on the weekend because you’re angry with his mother… that is treating him differently. You’re certainly entitled to be angry at your partner and his ex-there is valid reason. You do not have to interact with her whatsoever, get partner to go pick the child up or go out if she has to drop off- do not let your anger at them interfere with the child’s routine.
As for the test-I’m all for DNA tests, however I think by him turning to his ex for advice is crossing boundaries, I’d certainly be concerned about motives
