She definitely should have it's courtesy to disclose when you have a cold to someone.
And yes if you have a cold sore then you should disclose to them before kissing them, maybe they don't want it too and there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with cold sores either they go away and you aren't contagious if you don't have them but I'm just saying, it's courtesy.
And yes thankfully HPV has become much less of an issue, but still that doesn't mean it's not an issue at all. It still is and she should have disclosed.
