I think that the best thing to do in this situation is to talk to him about it. If you lie about it, it will definitely ruin your relationship with him. If you tell him about it, he won’t think you asked for them. Tell him about the entire conversation along with picture of it, but don’t be accusing about it. Just apologize a lot as you talk to him. It sounds like he’s not at your level of emotional maturity at the very least. There are plenty of options out there who are on your level.
