The only time my bf had to pee in a bottle and it was completely acceptable was when he sprained his ankle and pulled a calf muscle on the same leg. The way his condo is designed, you have to go down steps to use the bathroom. I was there to help him and asked if he needed to use the bathroom before I went to sleep.
He simply picked up an Gatorade bottle, hoisted it in the air, shook it a little and said “nah, I’m set.”
Dogs always love uncoditional, as very hot as it sounds, the next dog(s) will love you as much.
Exactly. And as much as his wife is likely not a good person (at least to OP) it sounds like the dogs love her and they'll have a decent life after.
So OP, take solace in knowing your two buddies will still be happy. Find your own happiness. If they suddenly turned human, they'd probably tell you that's what they'd want for you too.
Break up, move on, take whatever money you can get out of the current house, start a new life, and get a new dog. If you have to live in an apartment, go rescue an older dog who just is happy to chill out with you, and you two can both start new lives together.
