From own experience: becoming autonomous in this regard is already a big chunk of what good therapy would help you achieve. And being trapped like this and dependent on somebody who does NOT have your best interest at heart is a part of why you need therapy.

With any relationship you have to look at the whats/how of it. Would he become a stay at home dad? What are his goals and dreams? smoking weed and playing video games or ? Yep it definitely varies from person to person. I’ve actually noticed a lot of anti-pill posts lately which is weird. You can’t put a blanket statement on it because it affects everyone differently.
Personally, I love the pill and have had a great experience with it for over 15 years (reduced cramps, shortened cycle, got rid of acne). Meanwhile some of my friends didn’t like being on it. So it really depends.

You are a whole person with a whole future ahead of yourself. The likelihood of someone so full of themselves to act and speak like she did actually being serious about SI is very low. So delete, block, ignore, and move on.
