Medical school is very consuming in so many ways. I would just let it go. The fact that he is still with you after 7 years and wants to marry you and spend the rest with you speaks far more than something that he said back then. Was it disrespectful to say? It definitely was, but he seems to love you to enough to marry you, so I wouldn't throw that away for one verbal mistake back at the beginning. Just my 2¢ though.

Yeah, it definitely has been ramping up. It's unfortunate too that she works in a psychiatric unit; she can do a freakishly good impression of a psychotic schizophrenic. I've heard before from others in the field that thought patterns and language patterns can be diffused into helpers. I wonder if working in this field also keeps her from getting help herself.

You don't need to prove anything. If anything there is no way to prove you are not cheating. He should be the one to prove that you are cheating. The fact he doesn't even show any proof means he has trust issues and probably mental issues. He has no foundation for his reasoning. There is no relationship that works with crazy.
