Thank you for the encouragement. Literally when we were at their house, mid sentence of me trying to say something (I wasn't yelling), he said “I'm your father, you're not going to talk to me like that” and my husband responded “she's a 26 year old adult about to have a child” all because I was trying to explain something. When we just talked the either night he showed he really didn't like what my husband said to them when we were at his house and I felt defensive of that. My husband barely spoke over there. I told my dad I didn't like what his wife said either because anytime I said something was hurtful she'd come back and say that they can't control my feelings. It's exhausting. And I definitely feel disrespected through this whole thing. I won't be reaching out to see them again so if they want to they'll have to make the effort.
