I think you’re being a little harsh? He wants to get them a gift, a luxury watch, which will likely not lose value and can always be sold in the future.
I’d encourage him to give money for the children’s college funds actively.
When I was married, I realized early in my guy was not intuitive as a gift giver and definitely nit a mind reader.
I started reminding him of upcoming events a little ik advance but more importantly, reminding him with 1 week of the date along a couple of re-usable suggestions/hints. Something like, oh hey I can't believe our x Anniversary is this week! Man I really wish I had a chance to get my nails done or hit the salon or I saw this really cute thing and put it on my Amazon wish list.
It got to the point that he had some standard gift ideas for me if he was having trouble thinking of what to get. I regularly got gift certs to the nail salon and occasionally spa or massages. This was a win win, he was less stressed about gift giving and I always got something if could use and enjoy.
I am now divorced and seeing someone new. First Christmas, but we've only been together 2 months. So I brought up gifts with him and he said he was nit good at shopping and asked for suggestions. We settled on a dollar limit (30 bucks since we're so new) and gave him a whole list of suggestions that were realistic within the price range. I adore this guy so helping him be successful at making me happy is a no Brainerd.

She either cheated or has someone in mind. You need to end the relationship because this will go one of two ways
1 You seperate she don't care won't call for a month and begs you back. 2 he won't seperate… she resents your “restrictions” and cheats
She sounds like she's honestly just keeping you hanging. Hon, you need to still on-line your life. If you find someone before she is ready to work through things, great, but as of right now she is not ready to. She may never be ready to. You don't have to actively look for someone new, but don't wait around either.
