Ok, as a guy, am I missing something here, why would there be a loss of sexual attraction based on opening up about an eating disorder that you from the sounds of it keep under control? Granted I maybe just a dumb guy in relation to eating disorders but I m lost on this, seems there maybe some other issue and hes using this as a crutch.
Putting whether or not he finds you attractive aside, I think the fact that he demeans you to the people in his life concerning. Most people in healthy relationships want their family to like and respect their partner… your boyfriend doesn't for some reason, and I would find that incredibly off-putting.
I mean, I'm sure he's not perfect, but you're not even saying anything unkind about him in a vent post on the internet. He wouldn't do the same for you, though, it sounds like.
You should date someone you can be sure of, who doesn't make you doubt yourself. But if you want to keep going with this guy, confront him about what you heard and listen to what he has to say.
