You need to dump this guy. He’s manipulating you into feeling guilty about something you should NOT feel guilty about. He’s cheating with his co-worker and that was just a way of trying to get you to think nothings happening.
He will now use this repeatedly to guilt you, so he can freely cheat on her while you look after him.

I do love my wife, but I also love my best friend. We haven't done counseling. What would be the point? I know how I feel. My wife had heart surgery at the beginning of the year that was supposed to help her heart beat better and give her more energy. She hasn't done any exercises or anything since she got home from the hospital. She isn't going to change.
If the situation were reversed I would have asked her to leave me a long time ago. I didn't sign up to be a caregiver only, and wouldn't want her to.
My husband and I fast tracked our lives when we met when I had just turned 40. I’m almost 42 and due with our second child in 6 weeks. I was a bit overweight going in but otherwise healthy. I had no issues conceiving and no complications during either pregnancy (fingers crossed, almost at the finish line). I have to have more frequent doc appointments and baby monitoring towards the end of each pregnancy because of my age but nothing else was different filter me compared to my previous pregnancies (I have a 21 and 18 year old) I don’t know if my results are typical, just walked to share. If you guys wanna do this then you’d better get busy (?) and definitely talk to her doctor as there are more risks to her and baby’s health at her age. Good luck and congrats!
