Sounds like a power play to me. How is the sex for you? The times when he initiates and you give in, do you walk away feeling at least taken care of or is that a one way street too?
I don't think dating someone who is significantly older but “immature for their age” is a great experience for an 18 year old. They could end up being a parent toward their partner, which really isn't fair to someone that age who deserves to experience their youth. Best case scenario they'll break up once they mature and the other person doesn't.
