2. Does she make significantly more money than you? From one of your comments I understand you want to pay for tve entire trip and are too proud to split the costs with her and were obviously uncomfortsblt to the changes she wanted with the vacation you planned. She noticed your discomfort and obviously doesn't want to hurt you financially paying for the whole trip and knows your pride would be hurt if you split the costs. I don't know hat to tell you except you planned a more or less cost oriented suprise vacation and she didn't like the plans, thst is not reslly suprising if you ask me.
