1. Because she didn’t crash her car. If she had that would be 100% on her. But he convinced her, said it would be fine, and then got in an accident. I don’t get why his insurance isn’t covering (and imo that’s what is irresponsible, he should be covered in someone else’s car) but he crashed it and he should pay up as he took responsibility of her vehicle while driving and is the reason she has no vehicle.

I don't have good advice on the other parts but if you finally have medical documentation of the add and dyslexia you should go to your school's student support services and they will help you through class with this such as free tutoring, extended test time, etc. An incredible and free resource that most universities/community colleges offer.
