1. I totally understand your situation. Many companies are doing this type of thing. My company also does this for instance. I’m married as well for 2.5 years.

   Here is what you should do. Wait it out a bit. After the event, hangout with your wife for her birthday and really show her a good time. Also tell her how you felt and why you had feelings of jealousy for the first time, laugh about it, and make her feel extra appreciated and special. Don’t put her on the defensive because she might come to suspect you’re the one cheating or thinking about it. Be chill. Write your feelings down in a journal to make sense of your thoughts, and later tell her how you felt and why without accusing her of anything. The proceed with your good marriage as always.    Leave her to online her life and focus your time on yourself and your foster child.

   Side note: I am very surprised the foster child wasn't taken from you for even a short time given the change in circumstances, fostering is a highly regulated area. This alone makes me question the validity of your whole post.

4. If you love her then yes you should continue trying. You said that you didn’t think that you did though so I’m not sure that there is a point.

   Well the point would be for the sake of your kid so that is a big thing, but not loving her will ultimately be a dealbreaker.

5. Not hepatitis but jaundice, as others have said. And yellow eyes don't necessarily accompany yellow skin right away.

   My parent who eventually succumbed to their (rare, genetic, incurable) liver condition had jaundiced looking skin for a long, long time before their eyes ever turned yellow as well.

   Also, having seen someone succumb to a deteriorating liver I can tell you that it's not pretty. If his liver shutting down doesn't get him to the doctor, don't worry, though… the kidney failure that follows will probably do the trick.

7. I ended my marriage at 45. While I of course wish I'd not married her, I also should have left her much sooner. 28 would have been so much easier than 45, but still this last year+ has been amazing. A++, would leave her again and again ?.

   Being alone is so much better than being with the wrong person.
