Yeah. I was only visiting the city. I met up with her a year later since she’s the only one I knew here and we had so much fun that night and after I moved here. Also my partner and I are kind of open/fluid, we flirt with people a lot so it wasn’t any different to me. He also lives in another country and I trust him greatly so I guess it wasn’t something I cared to worry about. In hindsight, I definitely sound dumb.
Weird question but are you sure that spouses aren’t invited and the company is providing hotels? This + alcohol seems like a HUGE liability issue as far as sexual harassment is concerned, especially if it’s just for a party and not a professional seminar/conference with multiple companies.
What kind of industry is she in that this is accepted? What country is this company based in? I know that I’m probably a bit too blue collar to understand this, but it seems REALLY suspicious to me.
