   That being said, no one on the internet can diagnose your roommate for you. Also, narcissism is a spectrum, and someone can have narcissistic traits without having clinical NPD.

   I would advise you to ask yourself what difference it would make to you if you could confidently proclaim that your roommate is a narcissist. Would you move out the next day, but stick around and fight for their soul if they weren’t? Ultimately, you’re in a bad roommate situation — distance yourself from them until you can move out.

3. I tried but I moved 4.5 hours away from home to be with him. The complications of it all have kept me in the loop.

   I SHOULD have left, but it wasn’t that easy at the time.

4. Ask for a therapy referral. Find someone who can support you. Tell them to get therapy and find their own support person. YOU should not have to support them you're the one dying maybe or maybe not.

   Sadly this is not an uncommon response, but they need to work it out. You need to focus on your health. Good luck
