Well none of the people that are giving you opinion on this , don’t know either of you. First it’s your relationship, you know how both of you feel about each other. If you are happy together why do you need anyones opinion. Two people that care for each other and wish to be together should be together. Work on your relationship together. For judge-mental people, you didn’t have a say , in their relationship and no one should have it in yours. Online your life the way you like and with who you like.
If he wanted to be with you, then he wouldn’t need 3 chances. Your excusing his behavior. He keeps jumping between you two. Honestly I wouldn’t tie myself with someone who at the end of the day couldn’t stay with me. He has shown you that you are not a priority to him. If you were he wouldn’t need 3 chances to show you.
Don’t. Some of this advice isn’t sound. While you likely shouldn’t be paying 50/50 and you should be paying based on income (and you also shouldn’t be paying for repairs if you pay rent to him), this is somewhat normal in relationships where one might own a home the other moves into. I would expect my partner to help pay in terms of “rent” if he moved in because in no other place would I be paying the rent for him. He would be paying it anyway. And in no world would I put down a massive down payment on property like your bf is and then put someone else on the deed. That also would not be fair because if you did break up, you would get half the proceeds despite him paying a large portion of the mortgage as well as the down payment. Now, if you were contributing half to the down payment that would be a different story. I would talk to him about not paying for repairs and having a monthly payment that’s more in line with your income, but otherwise it’s ridiculous to assume just because you’re dating you should either not pay anything or be included on the deed when he’s the one putting his assets into the purchase.
