My daughter had two that all she said was go home it's bedtime and they went and got in their little travel carriers. If she told them it was nap time they went and got on her bed and stayed. It was crazy! My cats have never been that well trained but they were still trained and knew the word no. You just have to take time. Good luck!
Damn. Well, if this is true you definitely need a divorce – she’s used coercion, blackmail, and manipulation to break you down and get you to stay with her. The whole thing just sounds fucked and we will never 100% know the truth but what she’s doing is abuse. She’s forced you to cut off your support system of friends so you have no one else but her. Also, look up DARVO. That’s a classic abuser tactic. In general though you just don’t sound good together. Who gets a long distance marriage when you haven’t even in a regular non-LDR?? Especially with issues already present. 100% get a divorce. No questions about it like god damn.
