I'm sorry that something in your past still preys upon your mental health but you shouldn't expect others to tiptoe around you so they don't upset “trigger” you over something that is completely out of their control.
I suggest speak to someone in order to resolve whatever the issue is that triggers you but you have to remember that it's your problem and he, or anyone else, shouldn't have to make allowances for it.
