This should show you exactly why you shouldn’t be dating a 36 year old.
You’re in college. This should be the best time of your life! Instead, you’ve tied yourself down to someone old enough to be your mother. Enjoy your college years with people your age. If you don’t, you’ll regret it later.
#2 “Breaks” typically are garbage ideas, especially without any form of “deadline”
#3 You know your gf/relationship better then any reddit stranger. IMO you've got 2 options.
A) Offer to give her space with a set deadline for you two to revisit and see if you and her want to try to continue. 1 or 2ish weeks. If she's still feeling the same way, then break up.
This is gonna be mean but, you’re abusing your boys too by allowing her to continue to abuse them. That is neglect and neglect is abuse. You need to start gathering evidence so you can get sole custody. You cannot allow her access to them until she’s safe. If you don’t protect them now they’ll figure it out when they get older and they will be angry at you. It’s your job to protect them, and yourself. Good luck.
Impossible to tell whether there's more going on, but I wouldn't be surprised if he simply likes the attention she's giving him. It's not often that happens to a guy, regardless of the womans looks, age, whatever.
And I say that as a nonpartisan observation, not debating that it's okay.
They're trying to gaslight you, it was a shitty thing to do, and if they can't acknowledge that then the friendship is worthless
Lol best comment yet. Right?!
There it is. Upset at comment but no better advice.
So you think if OP reflects on the relationship it may end in divorce? Yet it still angers you?
She could also see if there other legal avenues like trusts. But whether she feels the same about her husband is worth the reflection.
You don’t agree with the advice then what’s your better answer? Nothing?

An American friend told me he went to a strip club and the strippers had tape crosses over their nipples, I asked him if he asked for his money back ?
