1. I'm so glad she is getting help now. I replied to the post before I saw this comment so I appologise as you've already done what I suggested in my post. But we'll done for getting her the help she desperately needed. I know it must have been devasting and scary for you, and no doubt she was angry at you which makes it harder, but just remember it's not really her at the moment. When she's lucid and back to thinking clearly she will thank you for it. People in crisis don't realise what they are thinking/seeing/or hearing isn't real. It's real to them at the time, but she will realise once she starts to feel better and you both will able to move forward with the help and support from the drs. Make sure you keep to your counsellor to help you deal with this too. Good luck, and I wish you both well.

2. Yup. He's 19…basically a warm dildo. 19 year olds don't have much going for them except energy, sex drive and naivete. Easy to manipulate but they aren't your equal.

   My daughter thinks it's funny to joke I've got a crush on her boyfriend and it just makes me sick to my stomach. Literally vomitus. I cannot imagine being with a teen. They are just lacking in important life experiences and mental growth. Yucky.

   And I'll admit I was sort of in a relationship with a big age gap in my mid 20s but it was “sort of” because in the end he didn't really respect me. I was inexperienced and he needed someone mentally more experienced than me. My personality and being “smart” didn't make up for the 20 year age gap between us. I persured him and he just couldn't with me. It would have been very unhealthy for me to have actually been in a real long term relationship with him. I'm glad he understood it wasn't right. You need to understand she's not what you need, man.
