Sadly, the majority of people who apply for disability are denied repeatedly and have to do a LOT of legal work and get a lot of medical assessments before they’re approved. Part of it is for good reason: there’s a lot of fraud, and a lot of people perfectly capable of working who try to use relatively minor aches and pains to claim that there’s not a single job they can do, and it makes hard for the rest of the people who need it.
Its not selfish to feel like you deserve closure
It would have been great but closure in and of itself wont help you move on beyond him
Lets say you got the perfect closure, how would you move about differently from where you are now?
You dont need closure from him because you dont need anything from anyone to grow as a person or have that feeling which you think closure brings
Everything comes from within yourself first and foremost
Grieve the relationship if you feel you need to but that relationship wasnt you
You’re you. And you should build yourself back up because thats what you really want- you dont need their permission(closure) to rebuild yourself.
You do that on your own bud
