   Maybe you will come home in a year and find that you still have feelings for each other, and you will find a way to make it work. You will grow together, and you will both benefit from the time that you spent apart because YOU will be a better person.

   Maybe you will come back and see her from a new perspective: that you have grown and she has not. That she was never the type of person to help you reach your full potential, and that if you had stayed, you would not have been as happy.

   If you stay, you will never know what you could be. You will never know if you could have been happier. You will never know if your relationship with her would have been better if you spent that time apart.
