Sorry, I somehow overlooked the link to the messages at first. It doesn’t sound different from what he’s written in the other messages (still all kind of rehearsed). It sounds more like it’s a hint that stuff will be read by you. I don’t interpret it as trying to convey that he was forced to write this by you, but it reads like he wrote it this way to acquiesce you and inform her that you’ll get to know of and see interactions between them.
To be frank, it reads like he’s being dishonest about what he’s saying in these messages, but not cause you dictated what to say to him. More like manipulation from his end and that he has to make a choice so he’s choosing you ‘cause it’s less of a hit to is outside image. And it could be code for her to basically ensure she knows that he doesn’t mean what he’s writing, it’s just for keeping the peace. But I don’t know you or him, so this is just the vibe I get from it.
If you wanna use the word “forced” then in this context it would mean to me that his hand was forced by the circumstances and not by you directly.
I didn’t realize so many people believe that exclusivity encompasses sexual exclusivity as well.
EVERYONE believes that, because that’s what exclusive means. It’s the literal definition of the word. Exclusive means “excluding other people.” You did not exclude other people after agreeing to exclude other people. You cheated.
