The thing is, his family is very kind and I have a great relationship with them. They have never ever ever asked for a penny- his parents nor his siblings. But it did scare me when I talked about his parents retirement plan with him and he confirmed they don't have one at all and 'may need to borrow a few bucks here and there' once they are older and can no longer work.
