I see a lot of people on-line who suddenly want to make every “age gap” relationship into something sinister. I use quotes in this instance though because a 24 year old finding a 20 year old attractive shouldn’t fall under this idea. I believe your friend genuinely may think of it as a pedo or groomer age gap though because of the recent surge live! (especially tiktok and Twitter) of discussions on this topic. Doesn’t make it right and you had the perfect response back.

Okay, so one thing a lot of people struggle with is differentiating fantasy from reality, especially in the moment, this requires a lot of trusting, respectful communication and self reflection.
