   I've been in the same situation twice, although for me both people were already religious when I started dating them. Long story short, I set a new rule: only date people that are 100% okay with me being non-religious.

   For you, it's extra hot because you fell for him and then he changed. But if he keeps going down this path, it will become very naked for you to stay together. Given what will be fundamental differences in how you want to online your life.

   Has he spoken to this yet? What are his expectations of a partner given his new outlook on religion? Can you still match that? In both of my cases, the answer was no. And I get it, it sucks for them to (mostly) go to church on their own and to have a whole circle of people that I don't necessarily jive with. I was fine going to church occasionally, and I'm happy to support a friend or partner in whatever passion they have, but with a big difference in religiosity, it's tough to be a couple.
