2. For one thing, stop doing his laundry full stop. If he throws it in the washer but doesn't switch it over, dump his wet laundry on his side of the bed (i had yo do this to a very inconsiderate housemate. He was pissed but it worked beautifully). And don't clean up any of his shit. Then, I'll pass along an effective tactic my mother used. When his stuff accumulates, toss it into one pile somewhere (I'm talking food wrappers, clothes, papers…everything). This also helps keep the rest of the space clean so you don't have to suffer his mess. Basically, force him to online in his own filth. He can solve the problem by not being a toddler.

   He will rage and pout and act like a victim but…until he knows simply waiting for you to do it won't work anymore, he has zero reason to change.
