Lay down your expectations for growing up with him, include dedicated time together. How is he the rest of the relationship?
It sounds like you still aren't over your feelings for him. You're subconscious is looking for a way to justify you flirting and getting close to him but you only did/eyertained these things because you still have intrest. The best course of action would have been to distance yourself from both of them and being honest with your friend about your feelings.
I grew up watching a lot of Say Yes to the Dress because my mom was a wedding planner, the girls that could never choose a gown typically weren't ready to get married or there was something else going on. I think this is your partner second guessing the engagement and marriage. Y'all need to have a discussion and maybe get couples therapy.
