1. Please just tell him what you put in your post, but be prepared for the fact that while you may be asexual, chances are he isn't and you can't expect him to just accept celibacy to be with you. To a non asexual, a relationship without sex is just a friendship.

3. People who think if it's honest, it's ok to come out of your mouth are usually a-holes. Truth is not the only measure by which you decide what to say to people. Ask yourself three things.

   Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

   Now he gets no points for intelligence asking a question which is designed to hurt his own feelings, so he is partially to blame. But there were so many things you could have said which were not only true, but also kind. What you ended up saying was clearly both unkind and unnecessary, and if you haven't learned by the time you're an adult that those things matter, I don't know what to tell you.

   Things you could have said instead, which should be honest if you treat people the right way:

   “I don't really think it's respectful to discuss the intimate details of someone else's life. I wouldn't want someone discussing my body and my intimate habits with a stranger, so I will extend the same courtesy.”

   “You are the only person I want to think about having sex with from now on.”

   “I don't think that kind of discussion is productive. I wouldn't want to heat about your sex life with your exes.”
