Why do you feel it should be that way I guess is a good question to start. What was your childhood like?
How did you not know this about him before you moved in?
I don’t know that there’s a solution other than breaking up and moving out if he’s such a loser that he’s gaming and abusing alcohol and then bitching that your alarm wakes him. He sounds like a frat boy, not a 30YO person available to be a good partner.
I guess the other option is that he sleeps in another room.
