He’s the one creating an issue. He’s the one who has shown her her feelings of this doesn’t matter by not asking her or encouraging her to share them. She has done most of the work this far. She has communicated and she has done nothing but consider his feelings.
He’s the one making this difficult. He refuses to leave, find other ways for him to feel validated, trust that she does care but simply just doesn’t want sex. It’s not her job to find the solution to a problem that she doesn’t have. However she’s doing more than he is. His solution is try and make her have sex, not find out why, not create other ways to feel valid.
