  1. I understand what you’re saying, and at the time I really just needed to get it down. At the time I was feeling a lot of emotions was trying to keep a clear enough head to get it down. I typically don’t like to involve people in my relationship. In person my communication isn’t A1. But I’ve tried communicating with my girlfriend in many different ways trying to get across what I’m trying to say. It gets hot to think when I’m stressed and overwhelmed.

    And I always get the “I understand and it’ll be different” or the “well you do this” and she takes it to an argument. Or she’ll just stare at me, and then pull her phone out, or start watching tv.

    Besides our son she has 2 kids. She shares one of her daughters with the ex which is the youngest daughter. Her oldest daughter kicked her dad out of her life 3 years ago.

    Communication was never my strong suit in my past relationships, which is why some of them ended. That and I have a short temper. So I’ve been seeing a therapist that helps me not only with my temper, but how to express myself in an appropriate way. I’ve been seeing my therapist for almost 3 years now. During this time, I’ve started medication for intermittent explosive disorder, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. There’s probably more medication to come, but my therapist and psychiatrist wants to introduce one medication at a time just in case of any negative reactions.
