   Either way, not liking jewellery is irrelevant. I inly wear one item of jewellery. My wedding ring. If she loves you and wants to marry you in the future then she will almost certainly want the ring. The gift isn't the shiny thing, it's the intent.

   But the most important thing is whether you want to give it to her? If you do, then do so. If you don't, then don't.

   Also, you don’t have to allow him to sniff you. Sure he can smell the area from an arm’s length away if he wants to and you do not have to use that spray. Is it even safe?

4. That’s why I’m asking. He also talks about carpooling to work events, so want more context of what’s “normal”. I admit my own personal experience in the corporate world is shaping my opinion of this. A senior consultant carpooling with a young admin is just weird to me, but maybe I have very strict professional boundaries. I’ve lived close to my clients and directors, and never once have I wanted to carpool with them.
