I understand how wonderful it would feel to return to a 'normal', but this isn't that. This won't heal without communication. He left you. He needs to explain what he was feeling and why he did to you what he did. Don't accept him back until/if he can communicate what was going on and why it won't happen again.

You can't stick yourself to someone who doesn't love you and is making excuses to get away from you. If she gives you signs of break up then break up with her and move on
The main thing here is it doesn’t matter if you decide to allow her to do this and you’re fine with it. Your friends who have texted you haven’t agreed to that. There are plenty of things someone would say to a friend that they wouldn’t say if someone else could see or was in the room. And I’m not talking about them doing something bad. A friend opening up to you about depression, an abusive relationship, traumatic event in their life. Those type of things people don’t open up about easily, and probably wouldn’t tell you if they knew someone else was reading your messages. The fact that your partner won’t respect your privacy or that of your friends says she’s immature and untrusting. She may say she trusts you, but she doesn’t need full unrestricted access all the time.
