1. You're not ridiculous. Not at all. Things that may seem “obvious” to people on the outside are never as clear-cut when you're the person in the situation. But if y'all already have a child, that definitely needs to be considered. Sounds like he's dressing abuse up as trying to be “kinky” but it's still abuse. And if he'll abuse you, what's to stop him from potentially hurting y'all's child.
