I think DnD is a total drag and would hate to have to make room for that in my living space. Feom my perspective, its cumbersome, time consuming, and kinda cringey as a spectator.
But that's a Me Problem. If I'm dating someone for a year knowing that they are a geek for DnD to the point that they have a regular game and all this gear for it, it would be pretty messed up for me to assume that they would toss aside something so harmless that they enjoy so much in their life just to make it easier for me to come grab a snack from the kitchen. And I know for sure that I wouldn't be interested in ditching any of my geek interests just on another person's say so.
I recommend you talk about finding a place together where you can have a room or space dedicated to these game nights. If your GF isn't into that, then it kinda seems like she's expecting you to hang up your geek hat for good in deference to your relationship. But she knew who you were this whole time; and that's who she needs to plan on living with.
