I’d go to couples therapy and try to work through this where you can have your differing beliefs. Personally, I don’t care if someone I’m with has a different belief than me that’s as similar as you guys have. I think she should respect that

The spark is only as important as you want it to be. Which means it depends on what you want from the relationship.
On one hand I try not to compromise on that passionate feeling of love for someone, because if you don’t have a spark in your life with your partner, then sooner or later you’ll find it with someone else if you leave that place empty in your life. I have heard a lot of cheaters justify it like this (not that I am calling you a cheater or anything) – I had a spark with my AP that I never had with my spouse.
But the flip side of that coin may be that you have found yourself in a slow-burn relationship. One where your needs are met all around and you see the effort this person is putting in, and your respect and admiration for them grow into a ‘spark’. These are usually the type of relationships that last. Your want a fireplace that keeps you warm for a long time, not a firework that is extremely bright for a short time and then burns your house down.
