What do you think the big difference is between being in a committed relationship vs marriage? I’m asking because I married young and don’t feel like it was any different to my friends who were just in committed but not formalised relationships. I still “discovered myself”, worked on my career, travelled etc. all the same, just with a husband rather than boyfriend. This may be very cultural but with the stigma around divorce gone, it really isn’t that different than being in a committed relationship. The only thing that changed was our tax benefits and obviously we’d have to drop money if we were to break up.
Of course I’m not saying OP should get married to this woman, she’s a walking red flag and a groomer.

Just going to be real honest, it's likely to always be a problem.
No judgement on whether its right or wrong, or even whether it should be a problem (for context my best friend dated my high school girlfriend for 3 years and I was fine, but my partner was not but I could understand that.
There's alot of comments saying “So what” “it's your life” etc. which are absolutely true, but past actions have consequences and no matter how miner it seems the consequence is your current relationship may not last.
You're both very young, and this type of insecurity tends to get better over time but it doesn't always. If your Ex makes comments then it's likely to only get worse.
