4. when I was young, I was the same, defensive.

   Overtime I opened up communication with my SO and it took some time but we found what work for both of us. I trust her to handle it as most of the time I would not be there when it happens. This allowed her to learn what works for her.

   Every time it will be different, sometime she just smiles at them and walks away. this happens when she is unsure of how he will take rejection (some men will push more if rejected) Other times she flat out tells the to “bug off” Its situational awareness for most woman.

   The only time I get involved now is when I can tell she wishes me to. You can work out a way for her to tell you as you discuss this.

   Its very important for her to learn how to handle this on her own as you can not always be there to defend her. Just support her and communicate
