My ex used to do the same things (except he told me he'd rather go out with his friends then spend time with me, though I eventually found out that 'friends' were girls he was cheating on my with). We would fight CONSTANTLY about it. In fact, there were multiple times we were on our way to go have a little date, and a 'friend' would text him and he'd ditch me. When we fought, he'd scream and throw things. He'd make fun of me for crying. On a few occasions, he'd threaten to leave me. He once pretended that he was going to crash the car. That was the last straw for me and I 100% believe had I stayed longer, things would've eventually escalated and he would've put his hands on me. Throwing and breaking things is considered domestic violence. He's using it as a way to intimidate you. And it's only going to get worse.
Get out as quick as possible. If he's anything like my ex, surround yourself with tons of supportive people because he'll try to manipulate you into staying (i tried leaving him 3 times before i was able to get away).
