I thought maybe honesty if I did actually have feelings for her and decided to end things. I’m new to dating so I don’t understand what it means to be in love. Because I know I love him. I care for him and want him to be happy. The last thing I want to do is hurt him which scares me. But I also don’t know if the feelings I have are romantic or not for her.
This makes no sense. Even if she didn't tell you right away, she was with the guy for three months 10 years ago. I'm wondering if it was longer than she's letting on. Was he like the one who got away type of thing? I don't get why she wrote a whole thing about him and gave so much money. Something doesn't really make sense here. I'm not sure what it is.
As a 25-year-old woman, I am very weirded out by the idea of dating someone who is basically fresh out of high school, just starting their college experience, and not at all on the same page of life as me. I have graduated, I have a degree, I have a real job, I own a house, and so much has happened in my life since I was a freshman in college. At that age, I would have never considered myself to be “just a kid”, but looking back, I certainly wasn't as grown up as I believed I was.
All of us, as teenagers, think we are “mature” for our age. All of us would like to believe, at that age, that we aren't like most other teenagers, and that older adults would find our company tolerable, if not interesting and even enjoyable. It makes you feel GOOD to feel like you are being taken seriously and seen romantically by someone older than you. But I promise — when you're 25, you won't see it that way.
I'm not saying this to be harsh, OP. I just want you to know that although 6 years doesn't seem like that big of an age gap, at your age, it is. At 25, none of my friends are 19. I work with some people that are close to your age, and I would never seek out more than a casual acquaintanceship with them.
It makes me wonder why Morgan wouldn't be seeking out a relationship with someone closer to her age. I know you probably don't want to hear this, but teenagers are impressionable and naive. This is coming from someone who did date an older man when I was a teenager. Only now do I realize that he dated me BECAUSE I was easily manipulated and impressionable. You really notice what feels so wrong about it as you get older.
Get her some roses or treat her to a special date. Don't get into the habit of buying gifts to apologize and stop talking to others females about your Gf it's rude and disrespectful to her. Good luck

I’m sorry you’re going through this but that’s what happens when you have sex with people you work with. He was in the wrong and should be fired and hopefully you learned a life lesson. I’m a man and made young mistakes too. I also had an affair with my boss but it was just a summer job so a bit different
