This. My husband and I have been struggling on this front. He told me in marriage counseling that my weight was a bother to him. I was losing weight, and was back to the weight I was when we married.
Apparently THAT weight was too much. He never said a thing about until counseling. And it had ruined my motivation — it's hard to feel like the work is worth it. I've been trying to get back into it, but I'm older, weight loss is harder than it was in my twenties.
