I definitely think going to a counselor before making a final decision is a great idea! They can help you each better understand the other person’s perspective. Sometimes compromises can be found, and other times, people part ways. But at least you’ll both have tried to professionally work through things.

I think sounds like it’s an OCD manifesting. Time for therapy. Him, not you, before you do need to as well. I'm with you all the way, women drive safer hands down. Now this is an opinion side, where there is no research available, but I think men tend to be more skilled drivers. Women are safer because they are more likely to follow the rules of the road, which can be proven as men are more likely to get traffic violations. I think it's the need for speed of men that cause the collisions, but also make them more skilled drivers. I may be wrong, this is mostly opinion, curious to see what others think
