You like that your dad is talking to you kind of like a grown up but your uncomfortable with him directly or indirectly saying about or to your mother (my dad would talk trash to his friends like that). It makes you feel caught in the middle, it makes you feel like a bad person. It makes you feel like you did something wrong.

Honestly I didn't read the whole thing because I don't need to. you don't need a reason to leave your girlfriend all you have to do is say “I'm ending this relationship, I don't want to be with you anymore.” You don't have to justify it. You don't have to explain. Even if you do explain she might just debate you or argue you or whatever. You can fully leave a relationship just because you want to. People survive without closure all the freaking time. Even if you say “I'm leaving you because I don't feel like you respect me and I need to respect myself enough to listen to that voice inside my head telling me that this relationship should be over” that is more than a lot of people get. Staying in a relationship with somebody you don't want to be with is more messed up then releasing them.
