There's actually a name for this – DARVO.
Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim & Offender.
He doesn't want to be the bad guy, so he is focusing on everything he can think of that puts him on the high moral ground. His anger is misplaced guilt. He doesn't LIKE how guilt feels, so he would rather be angry at you than deal with the fact that HE fkd up.

Absolutely not over if you're making a list – a lot of people get into a rut, have a big life event or end up anxious about their future and these lists can help you put things into perspective.
I read your pros list and thought, “Wow! He sounds like the dream!” until the cons list, which has significantly more serious things on it.
Many of them are workable, but some are dealbreakers for many people. Even if he could reign in his controversial arguments with people and you figured out the logistics of a LDR, being serious together all of the time, mismatched sex drives and trying to “fix” whilst you see him as a bad influence (you're responsible for your own food and movement, though) all just seem like genuine lack of compatibility.
It's worth talking to him about these cons in a non-confrontational manner if you want to try to make it work, but I wouldn't feel too bad if it seems like this relationship has run its course.
Never stay for comfort – sunk cost fallacy and the idea of better the devil you know keeps too many people stuck and eventually, resentment sets in.
