This is really strange cherry picking of OP's post. The phrase “I asked if he would come help me” does not translate to her having literally said “come help me”; it's a description, not a quote.
That said, if it is spoken as a question it remains polite. And we have from the original post (assuming it is an accurate portrayal because we mostly have to) that it was asked, and therefore used question tone. Hell, depending on your relationship even flatly telling someone to help can be acceptable. I have plenty of friends with whom I'd just say “yo come help me with this laundry” (or more realistically “yo do the thing” because we don't usually put content in our sentences lol) and it would just happen because this is how we talk with each other and we have understandings about levels of reciprocity. It's all about negotiating how communication (and contributions of action) will occur within the relationship.
I’m so sorry. Ditto what another woman said, those lists are in order. Get tested, now and in 3 months cause you don’t have dates on her latest encounter and some things take awhile to go positive. Cheating is awful, but also risking giving you an STI while doing so means she completely lacks morals.
